New Jasmine Western Swing CD

Latest release on my car player is a great new CD out on Jasmine (JASMCD 3565). Titled “Dog House Blues,” it features the vocals of Tommy Duncan, Billy Jack Wills, and Lee Ross. The CD includes all of Tommy’s Coral Records output, including my favorite, “Walkin’ In The Shadow of the Blues.” Billy Jack is represented by most of his MGM sides, along with“Lilly Dale” and “Chew Tobacco Boogie” from Four Star. Lee Ross is featured with Bob Wills & the Texas Playboys as are both Tommy and Billy Jack.
